Northumbria Healthcare Trust has installed three Carestream DRX-Evolution systems, based on the Carestream DRX-1wireless, cassette-sized DR detector.

This next-generation mobile DR system delivers outstanding image quality, provides easy maneuverability and comes with numerous productivity-enhancing features. 

Based in Bethesda, Md., the National Institutes of Health is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is the primary agency responsible for biomedical and health-related research. 

The programs will consist of a combination of accredited lectures, educational seminars with industry experts, online training from Carestream, and live webinars available in conjunction with Professor László Tabár, M.D. F.A.C.R. (Hon).

The implementation of Carestream’s wireless DR detectors was an integral part of the group’s conversion to an all-digital workflow that began with implementation of a PACS and an EMR.

As this independent viewer is PACS-agnostic, clinicians across Spire can securely view PACS images from all 37 locations; 27 sites with CARESTREAM Vue RIS/PACS and 10 sites with PACS from another provider.

The Saint Etienne University Hospital led the group coordination of this ambitious territorial PACS project, which involved all major economic, political, technical and health players of the Loire.

As part of an enterprise-wide conversion from computed radiography to digital radiography systems, CARESTREAM DRX-1 Systems and CARESTREAM DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kits were installed. 

Clinicians at Houston Healthcare (Warner Robins, Ga.), believe the installation of CARESTREAM DRX equipment represents a significant improvement in patient care. 

Radiologic Associates, P.C., (Middletown, N.Y.) is installing a CARESTREAM Vue PACS with Vue Connect to streamline its reading workflow and accelerate the delivery of radiology reports.
